Hello

A few years ago, I started The XMakers, a company specialising in experiences and creative solutions. I’ve been fortunate to shape it from the ground up with a team of talented people from around the world who are not only highly skilled but also great fun to work with.

I’ve always loved building, transforming and improving things, whether it’s ideas, teams or culture. Along the way I’ve been tasked to create PwC’s award-winning Experience Centre for Southeast Asia from scratch, and restructured Saatchi & Saatchi’s creative capability, lifting it from a regional ranking of over 160 to top 10 in a year.

My career has taken me through top-tier agencies, consulting and technology. I’ve held leadership roles at PwC, Saatchi & Saatchi and Lowe Worldwide, worked in-house as a Disney creative, and led global accounts including Acer and Unilever. Having lived in nine countries and speaking three languages fluently (and a few badly), I’ve picked up a feel for a wide range of cultures and how to connect with people.

Some of the projects I’m proudest of include developing one of the world’s first contact-tracing solutions during Covid - that actually worked. It was launched in hospitals and construction dormitories in Singapore, then sold in seven countries. I also led a four-year communications initiative to design a nation’s election system and citizen experience, which included creating a new national anthem.
